Former Fijian rugby captain Dominiko Waqaniburotu this week signed with Top 14 side, Brive.
The 26-year-old flanker will leave upon completion of his contract with the Waikato Chiefs in Hamilton, New Zealand.
Waqaniburotu captain Fiji at the 2010 Pacific Nations Cup and was also part of the Flying Fijians Rugby World Cup outfit in New Zealand last year.
The agile flanker was remembered at the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand for executing a dangerous tackle on South African fullback, Patrick Lambie in their 49-3 pool thrashing.
His latest signing is for two years in France with Brive even if they are relegated from the Top 14.
Brive are involved in a battle for the second and last relegation spot and are presently third from bottom above Bayonne only on better points difference with just two games remaining.
