The Fiji Rugby Union has decided not to renew the contract of sponsorship and marketing manager Tevita Waqairawai.

FBC Sports understands this is Waqairawai’s last week in the office before the union starts looking for replacements.

FRU has decided to stay mum on the issue and it is not clear when the union will advertise for the position.

Apart from being the sponsorship and marketing manager, Waqairawai also managed the Digicel Fiji 7s team.

The last time he did so was the Gold Coast 7s last month where the team won against all odds.
