Wales head coach, Warren Gatland has called on the media to keep writing off his side before the World Cup starts.

Many are predicting that Wales will miss out in Pool A, which also contains hosts England, Australia, Fiji and Uruguay.

The Kiwi-born mentor says if the Dragons can come into the competition as being written off, it will be the best situation for the team to be in.

Gatland added that there were a number of contenders who could win this year’s tournament, making it the tightest to call in history.

Wales will host the Flying Fijians at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on October 2nd.
