Wales hints at changes for Fiji Test

November 11, 2014 3:04 am

Wales rugby coach Warren Gatland may have to make at least two changes to his starting line-up for the clash against the Vodafone Flying Fijians on Sunday.

Fly-half Dan Biggar has a groin injury, while full-back Leigh Halfpenny is suffering from concussion and is a doubt.

BBC Sports reports that Rhys Priestland is likely to start instead of Biggar, while Liam Williams could switch from wing to full-back.

Centres Jonathan Davies (shoulder) and Scott Williams (hamstring) could return from injuries.

Gatland has already signalled changes beyond those forced by injuries will be made when the side to face Fiji is named tonight.

Meanwhile, Josh Matavei and Vereniki Goneva have joined the Flying Fijians camp.

Matevesi has rejoined the squad following injury and Goneva is back after he was unable to travel to France last week due to late issue of his visa.

The match kicks-off at 3.30am.
