The 2017 Fiji Bitter Wairiki 7s aims to be the biggest sevens tournament to be held in the outer islands.

Tournament founder Jone Vuki says he is aiming to reach the standards of the Marist 7s tournament in the next five years.

“Our aim is to be like the Marist 7s tournament in the future and most likely invite international teams to participate in this event.”

The tournament kicks off tomorrow with the under 19 sevens competition and ends on Saturday.
