Wailoku sets sight on NCC

The Wailoku Football Club laced with Solomon Islands players has set its sights on the Kriz Signs National Club Championships title.

This after the team won the Suva local league final yesterday beating a star studded Samabula 3-2.

Suva striker Ralph Sherwin was the star, netting in the second spell of extra time after both teams were tied 2-2 at full-time.

The side has majority Solomon Islands players, from the Wailoku village, which includes Sherwin and fellow Suva rep Luke Hatarea.

The NCC zonal play-offs will be played in Suva this weekend for the southern teams, while the western sides battle in Nadi.

The finals will be played in Ba next week.
