Vodafone Flying Fijians rep, Watisoni Votu has signed a two-year deal with French second-division club, Pau.

The former national 7s rep previously played for Perpignan for two seasons, scoring six tries but was unable to help them return to the top tier Top 14 competition.

The 30 year old’s signing is the latest in a string of high-profile players who will join the club next season, including All Blacks duo, Conrad Smith and Colin Slade.

Votu will march into the Flying Fijians camp next week to prepare for the Maori All Blacks match on July 11th as well as the Pacific Nations Cup.
