One of the sporting federations that is excited with the refurbished Vodafone Arena is the Fiji Volleyball Federation.

Fiji Volleyball is ready to host more international meets in the country as they were really encouraged and motivated after seeing the new look facility.

The Fiji Volleyball Federation President Liga Gukisuva says having a world standard court at the Vodafone arena is great news for them.

Gukisuva adds they can now host more competitions at the arena as it will be great for the development of the sport in the country.

‘We can’t wait to bid for tournaments that we can use the new Vodafone arena as the venue for these tournaments its world class its international set up this investment this kind of support from government make our work easy when we go out and bid for tournament’.

Meanwhile, Gukisuva and Fiji Volleyball are preparing to host the Continental Cup at the Uprising Beach Resort next month.
