Beach Volleyball miss out on Pacific Games

Beach Volleyball will not be part of Team Fiji at the Pacific Games in Samoa this year.
This was confirmed by a disappointed Chef-De-Mission Patrick Bower in a press conference today.
Bower says Beach Volleyball failed to pay the team levy and did not submit any names as well for the Pacific games which starts on the 7th of July.
“We even went down to the courts to try and encourage them and see how they are going but from their part they need to be more pro-active. I mean at the end of the day we’re spoon feeding them which of course is not really not allowing for development.”
453 athletes have been confirmed to represent Fiji at the Pacific games but the number will drop once respective sporting federations finalize their squads.
