Vodafone Fiji U20 to monitor Busaiteen

The Vodafone Fiji Under 20 football team will closely monitor the Busaiteen team when they play their first match at the OFC Presidents Cup today.

The Bahraini club Busaiteen take on Amicale FC at 7.30pm in their tournament opener.

Fiji coach Ravinesh Kumar says they are looking forward to facing the professional club.

“We will be watching them and we will be gauging them, how the team is and according to that we will plan for the game. I know they are a professional club and playing against them will be all good for us playing with better teams because we are here to prepare ourselves for the World Cup and it is good for us to play as much better teams as we can.”

The Fiji side lost their opening game to Amicale 3-0 on Monday.
The side takes on Busaiteen at 7.30pm on Friday.
