Vodafone Fiji 7s team needs to win Wellington and Sydney 7s to remain in contention for the Sevens World Series title.

Fiji 7s trainer Nacanieli Cawanibuka says the players know the importance of the two tournaments and are hoping to grab the maximum points next month.

“That’s a turning point we must have maximum points from these two tournaments. The outcome goal is really to win those tournaments and for us to stay in the hunt for the World Series which is the bigger picture. This next two tournaments is critical for us.”

Fiji is grouped with South Africa, Australia and Japan at the Wellington 7s.
