Vodafone Fiji is expected to be the new sponsor for the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Deans competition.

The Zones competition started today with Vodafone’s Sponsorship Manager Adriu Vakarau present at the opening of the Eastern zone at Queen Victoria School ground.

FSSRU officials were also wearing shirts with Vodafone logo on it.

Even the Fiji Rugby Union tweeted a few photos from the Eatsern zone with the caption ‘Yes, we are on roll. FSSRA and FRU – Vodafone Dean’s Zonal play-offs kicked today. It was also time to celebrate 80 years’.

Last week, the FRU, Ministry of Education and Fiji Secondary School Rugby signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the Deans competition.

Coca Cola have been sponsoring the Deans for the last 7 years.
