The Fiji Pearls netball team has a new coach.

Wilson, who has played for Australia for more than 15 years, says she already has laying out the platform of why she is here.

“I am here wanting to help you to become the best netballers you can possibly be and be competitive on the international stage and together we will keep working really hard and I am sure that we will take giant steps and enjoy each other’s company and challenge each other.”

The former Silver Ferns attacking coach says she chose Fiji because of the potential the team has.

Wilson’s appointment is for three years which means she will lead the Pearls at next year’s Mini Pacific games, the Commonwealth Games in 2018, the 2019 Pacific Games and the Netball World Cup in the same year.
