Fiji Airways 7s player Jasa Veremalua says there is tough competition amongst the players as they fight for a spot ahead in the team ahead of the World Cup team next month in San Francisco.

Veremalua says with the inclusion of overseas based-players, the locals will try their best to be part of the final team.

“The journey is not ended and our next focus is the World Cup in San Francisco. There will be competition within as we will have the likes on Leone {Nakarawa} and other overseas-based and us local players.”

Meanwhile, the squad will march into camp next preparing for the World Cup which will be held from July 21st to 23rd.
