Vodafone Fiji 7s forward, Jasa Veremalua hopes to continue with his fine form in the Olympic Games next month.
Veremalua says being selected in the Fiji 7s team, is a great achievement for him and his family.
“I want to thank the lord all mighty for his provisions, yes I’m excited and honestly about hearing from Ben during the one on one session giving me the green light to go to Rio.”
Fiji 7s coach, Ben Ryan says Veremalua is in the best form of his life and will be a weapon for the national side in the Olympics.
“I said in many way his pretty lucky. In my last tournament for England, he was playing in the Rugby World Cup 2013 in Russia and I watched those tapes he was ok nothing more than ok and as he came in my first year again he was alright, he was a decent international player but he has been going like a rocket and now he has reached a point where he is going to the biggest tournament of his life and he is in his best form of his life.”
Meanwhile, the Fiji 7s team marched into camp today.
