Fiji Airways Drua flyhalf Alivereti Veitokani is one of the outstanding playmakers in the National Rugby Championship so far.
Veitokani was instrumental in their 33 – 28 win over Western Force yesterday as he scored a try and made numerous bustling run on to the Force defensive line.
Prior to the match against the Force, Veitokani has notched up four tries, 22 points, 84 carriers, 709 metres and even 13 tackles himself.
The 26-year-old has spent time in both full back and first five eight this season and says despite a love for both positions, he is enjoying finding his feet in the important playmaker role.
In the Drua’s only loss this season against Queensland Country in round three the Australian heavyweights restricted the Drua for space and suffocated their leading playmaker of any chance to ignite the Fijian attack.
