Fiji born, France Rugby Union player Virimi Vakatawa has been named in the Planet Rugby’s Team of Year.

Vakatawa is the only Fijian named in the team which is dominated by All Blacks players.

The France based wing pipped over Vodafone Flying Fijians giant winger Nemani Nadolo and Julian Savea.

Vakatawa played for French 7s side before switching to 15’s during the Six Nations competition.
