Vakatalesau suspended

Three Ba football players have been found guilty and handed suspensions following the debacle at the Courts IDC in October.

Striker Osea Vakatalesau has been found guilty by the Fiji FA Board of Control and has been suspended for three months from all levels of football effective from December 20, 2012 and fined $1500.

Abbu Zahid and Avinesh Waran Suwamy also of Ba has been suspended from one match at district level and fined $1000.

Meanwhile, Suva’s Simione Maikali suspended from one match at district level and fined $1000.

Fiji FA board stressed that repetition of similar offense in future will call for severe disciplinary action.
