Former Ba and Lautoka striker Osea Vakatalesau has been dropped from the Vodafone Fiji football side preparing to tour Vanuatu.

Team Director Tarunesh Reddy has confirmed that Vakatalesau did not turn up to camp when the full squad moved in.

Reddy says the Amicale striker is injured, hence his absence from the team camp.

The team departs for Vanuatu on Friday and the first match between the two sides will be on Saturday in Port Villa.

The two sides will meet again next Wednesday in the second encounter.
