Swimmer, Taichi Vakasama has won Fiji’s first medal at the Commonwealth Youth Games underway in Bahamas.

Vakasama won a bronze medal in the 200 meters Breaststroke event.

He also set a new national record in the 15-16 year old age-group category.

Fiji competes in Swimming and sevens rugby at the games today.
