USA to change game plan in Paris

The USA 7s side is wary of Fiji after they were beaten 17-10 by the Gareth Baber coached side in London last weekend.

Captain Madison Hughes says they were under constant pressure from Fiji.

Hughes says they will have to adopt a strategic game plan if they are to encounter Fiji again this weekend.

‘We know they are a fantastic team and they’re going to give us a tough time. We’re just going to do everything we can to end on a high note and give ourselves the best possible chances of success. If we look back at that semi-final it came down to a few moments where we turn the ball over giving them opportunities. You know if you turn over the ball against Fiji they are gonna make you pay and they did in that game. We are just going to try and improve on that and a few small technical errors and limit our turnovers and if we do that, belive in ourselves then we’ll have a good weekend’.

USA is pooled with Canada, Spain and Samoa.
