USA 7s coach Mike Friday believes their first match against Australia will set the platform in the Sydney tournament this weekend.

Friday says the Aussies will have the advantage of the home crowd and they will also play procession based game.

“I expect Australia to be very hard for us especially in the breakdown. They are very competitive and very clever at keeping the ball so it’s who can control the procession in that game.”

USA plays Australia first before Scotland and faces Canada in its last pool match on Saturday
