Upsets continue at IDC

October 8, 2015 4:56 am

The Nadroga football side continued the upset trend in the Courts Inter District Championship after beating Labasa 4-3 at Govind Park.

The Stallions were 3-0 down at halftime after Labasa romped to a first half lead with goals to Gabriel Matanisiga, Ravinesh Karan Singh and Ilisoni Logavau.

But like Dreketi’s upset win over Lautoka earlier today, Nadroga showed great resilience to mount a dramatic comeback with two goals to Andrew Naicker and one each from Sajneel Sharma and Anish Khem to the delight of the crowd.
