Fiji Bati winger Akuila Uate’s days in the NRL are numbered.

Zero tackle reports, Uate is on the way out of the NRL as he’s poised to sign a deal with English club Huddersfield.

The 30-year-old entered the league in 2008 and after a shaky start, grew into one of the league’s most solid players and a fan-favourite.

Uate made the move to Manly at the start of last season and unfortunately due to their salary cap mess, they will no longer be able to hold onto him and now he sees the best fit for him is to play over in England.

The Fijian winger was able to win NSW and Kangaroo jerseys during his time in the NRL as well as play for the national Fijian team.

Over his NRL career, Uate scored an impressive 129 tries from 198 first grade games.

Meanwhile, the Manly Sea Eagles will play Warriors at 5pn Saturday.
