The Fiji Under 17 Women’s Football side is aware of the tough task ahead and is ready to battle for the top place at the OFC Women Championship qualifiers, next month.
Fiji Women’s Football Director, Susan Wise says coaches have been working closely with the players on maintain consistency in the last few weeks of training.
Wise adds they have a lot confidence in the players to deliver their best at the tournament.
“The makeup of the team is players from 14 to 16 years old and the youngest is fourteen. And majority of the players are from Ba.”
She also commended the players for taking out their time from their school holidays and being part of the camp.
The OFC U17 Women Championships that will be held in the Cook Islands from the 13th to the 23rd of January.
