Two FBC Sports Journalist off to Rio

Two sports journalists from the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation have left for Rio in Brazil to cover the Olympic Games.

The duo will be in Rio for three weeks bringing you the latest updates from our Olympians at the international event.

Sports Journalist Vashneel Prasad says his dedication has been recognized as he prepares to cover one of the biggest sporting events in the World.

“We’ll do daily coverage for our 7pm bulletin we’ll do behind the scene action and we will provide everything and anything that comes across and you can also join us on FBC twitter and facebook page to see latest happenings in Rio”

Rohit Deo who has a passion for sports has assured FBC viewers that they will provide the best coverage from the Olympic Games.

“We are hoping that the Fiji 7s are doing well but looking at other sports of course we’ll do the coverage of other sports in Brazil and i hope we’ll return with the gold with the 7s team”

The Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games is at 11am on Saturday however some competitions begin earlier in the week.
