Two changes to Fiji 7s team likely

April 25, 2012 1:03 am

Two changes at the most are expected in the naming of the Fiji 7s team to Scotland and London this afternoon at the Digicel headquarters in Suva.

National assistant coach, Etuate Waqa says the addition of new squad members for the final leg should prove strategic with their various strengths.

“We are expecting a few changes to Scotland and England, the players have been knocking on our doors all this time and because of the unavailability of some seasoned reps we will be making one or two changes. We want to end this on a high note and I think we are on track."

The final 12 will be named at 3pm today followed by the team going through a scrimmage with the Army rugby club at the Bidesi grounds in Laucala Bay.

The Glasgow 7s will be played next weekend where Fiji’s first match is against Zimbabwe then Portugal and Argentina.
