Twenty-four teams confirmed for Nines tournament

The Fiji National Rugby League technical team will be out to judge the coaches of the local teams part of the Nines tournament tomorrow.

Twenty-four teams are confirmed to compete at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.

FNRL Chief Executive Timoci Naleba says the competition will give them a fair idea on the progress of development with the rugby league clubs.

“We would like to have this competition to get everybody together in one field and will serve workshop at the same time. There will be some technical staff going around just to help coaches in some aspects of selection and gauging performance of players.”

Meanwhile, the winner of the competition will walk away with three-thousand dollars.

Teams competing are Coastline Roos (2), Saru Dragons (2),Namoli West Tigers, Biausevu, Nausori Bulldogs, USP Islanders (2),Hot Bread Lami Steelers, Topline Warriors, Burenitu Cowboys, Na¬muaniwaqa Sea Eagles (2), Mala¬wai Sea Eagles, Ravoravo Rab¬bitohs (2), Nadi West Dolphins, Nabua Broncos.WEB
