Fiji Airways national 7s captain, Jerry Tuwai, will for the first time captain the team in front of the home in the Oceania 7s from tomorrow.

Tuwai says, he is confident of leading the pack in the two day tournament and is looking forward to playing some of the toughest opponents.

“I so blessed and I’m thankful that the coaching staff believed in me but we have a lot of leadership like Vatemo Ravouvou, Apisai Domolailai and Kailone Nasoko.”

The Oceania 7s kicks-off tomorrow at 11am.

Fiji plays its first game against New Caledonia at 4.40pm and plays American Samoa at 7.40pm at the ANZ Stadium tomorrow.
