Fiji Airways Fiji 7s half-back, Jerry Tuwai has been nominated for the World Rugby Sevens player of the year award.

The list of nominees was released by World Rugby early this morning, which also have Perry Baker of USA and Rosko Specman of South Africa.

The awards night will be held on the 26th of November in Monaco.

Meanwhile, Samisoni Viriviri is the only player from the Fiji 7s team, who has won the award in 2014.
