Tulo and Vaivai ready for Olympics

Weightlifting Fiji’s, Apolonia Vaivai is hoping to do wonders in her first Olympic Games in Brazil next month.

Vaivai who has spent a week at the Oceania Weightlifting Institute in New Caledonia is back in Fiji and is currently training under the guidance of national coach Jo Vueti.

Vaivai will compete in the 69 kilogram category in Brazil.

Meanwhile, Manueli Tulo will also hope to put a strong performance in the Olympics.

Tulo is based in New Caledonia and will take part in his second Olympic Games.
The former Sports Man of the year finished at 13th place in the London Olympic four years ago.
