Tuitubou welcomes Super Rugby teams

Sports Minister Laisenia Tuitubou has welcomed the Highlanders team upon their four days stay prior to the much-awaited home super rugby clash this weekend.

Fijian-born Tevita Nabura with his three Highlanders teammates and officials yesterday paid a visit to the Sports Ministry as part of their legacy program.

Highlanders Team Marketing Manager Amanda Gould says they are looking forward to carrying out their legacy program and experience the lifestyle of the locals before game day.

“Of course Tevita we have an opportunity to bring him back home and for him to share his wider family all across Fiji and it’s a massive privilege for us to be here.”

Tuitubou had conveyed his well wishes to the team.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs will arrive at midday today while the Highlanders team arrives tomorrow.

The Highlanders host the Chiefs on Saturday at 7.35pm at Suva’s ANZ Stadium. The gates will be open from 4pm.
