The Minister for Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitubou received a donation of Forty Thousand dollars from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to assist in youth development and capacity building projects in communities.

The cheque was presented to Tuitubou in Suva by the Chinese Ambassador to Fiji, Zhang Ping.

Minister Tuitubou acknowledged the timely assistance by the Chinese Government and reassured that the Ministry would ensure that the grant would be used to address the needs of youth in the four divisions.

Tuitubou says the grant will be used in supporting income generating opportunities for youths.
