Tuisova arrives in the country

Fijian rugby star, Josua Tuisova and his family arrived in the country today after helping the Fiji Airways sevens team to win the London title last weekend.

The Toulon star winger will tie the knot on the 29th of this month before joining the national team for the World Cup.

He says with so many talents in the squad, it will also be a stiff competition for the players gunning a place in the final team.

“There are heaps of good boys playing for Fiji with good talent. All of them want to be want to be in the World Cup squad and I will try my best to be on the team.”

Tuisova and Semi Radradra are two overseas-based players confirmed to join the sevens camp later this month.

Meanwhile, the Fiji 7s team is pooled with New Zealand, Kenya and Samoa in the Paris tournament.

They will play Samoa in its first pool match at 8.50pm on Saturday and then faces Kenya at 11.46pm.Fiji plays its final pool match against New Zealand at 5.14am on Sunday.

The cup quarterfinal kicks off at 8.13pm, semi-finals will be at 12.03am next Monday and the final is scheduled for 4.54am.
