Tough way to quarterfinals for Fiji Bati

The Vodafone Fiji Bati side will play one of either New Zealand, Tonga, Samoa or Scotland in the Cup quarterfinals of the Rugby League World Cup.

Fiji Bati captain, Kevin Naiqama says, they’re aware of the tough competition as they progress to the later stages of the tournament.

He says, while the team has set an aim, their next focus is the game against Wales.

“Definitely the last two World Cups, we have played in the semi-final but we are not too focused on where we want to be in the end obviously we want to win the World Cup but we are not looking past next game.”

Fiji plays Wales in its second match at 9.30pm on Sunday
