Fiji Secondary Schools Football Association President, Aminesh Ram says they are determined to continue to develop the sport at grassroots level to achieve similar success such as that witnessed by the Fiji under 20 and under 23 sides.

“People are talking behind our backs that football is not developing. I challenge them to come and see our tournament in Nausori and see for themselves where football has grown. It is through such development that our teams have national teams have qualified.”

Latter Day Saints College and Vivekananda Technical Centre will feature in the competition for the first time ever.

The Vodafone Secondary Schools Football Championship will be held on August 17th to the 20th at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
