Tough deal for Flying Fijians forwards

November 23, 2012 7:03 pm

Fiji Rugby Union national coaching director, Franck Boivert says it’s going to be a big challenge for the Flying Fijians forwards against Georgia tonight.

He says to expect a big domination of the Georgia forward pack that’s known to have a tactful tight five capable of instilling damage upfront.

Despite this fact, Boivert says the Flying Fijians have more pace and with Setefano Somoca returning as captain, the mindset of the players could change for the better in their last Europe tour clash.

Boivert told ABC News that having local-based rep, Somoca back as skipper will help to revamp the players attitude to fight for at least one win on tour.

Fiji has suffered three dissapointing losses against England, Gloucester and Ireland A.

Boivert also says Fiji needs to move the ball out quicker and away from the forward pack.

The Flying Fijians-Georgia match kicks off at midnight.
