Tough competition is expected at the 40th Bongo Primary Schools Inter District Championships which gets underway in Labasa today.

Fiji Football Association competitions Manager Amitesh Pal says with defending under 12 division champions Nadogo not taking part this year, it will be difficult to pick a winner beforehand.

7 teams will compete in the under 12 grade while 18 teams will fight out for supremacy in the under 14 grade.

The tournament starts at 8.50am at Gurunanak Primary Schools Grounds in Labasa today.
