The International Table Tennis Federation’s Oceania Championship has attracted some of the big names of the region this year.

New Zealand’s Under-21 Oceania champ Nathan Xu and Fiji’s Olympian Sally Yee will be part of the event in the weekend.

ITTF Oceania President, Anthony Ho says there is more to fight for the players during the two day event.

“This series allows players to gain points and raking where by the top eight men and women in this region will be selected to compete at the Oceania Cup.”

The tournament will begins tomorrow at Suva’s FMF Gymnasium.
