Top of the table clash

The much-awaited Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League clash between Suva and Ba is scheduled to take place on Sunday at Govind Park.

Both teams are in contention for the league title, with the Men in Black on 39 points, while Suva is on 36.

Suva has a pending protest against Savusavu.

Both teams will be out to win this encounter to ensure they are in pole position to win the league.

The match is set for a 3pm kick-off.

Other games scheduled this weekend sees Nadroga take on Navua, while Rewa hosts Nadi on Sunday at 3pm.

In the Viti Levu Premier League play-offs, Rakiraki and Tailevu Naitasiri meet at 1pm at Govind Park.

Both teams have won a game each and the winner faces the Vanua Levu winner.

On Wednesday night, Ba takes on Tavua at Govind Park at 7pm.
