Top local players to be drafted in Flying Fijians squad

Fiji Airway’s Flying Fijians coach John McKee is expected to name eight local players in his extended squad for the June Test matches.

Fijian Drua and Warriors captain Mosese Voka is one of the players set to be included into the list.

Naitasiri prop Eroni Mawi, hooker Joeli Veitayaki and Nadroga front rowers Ratunaisa Navuma and Veremalua Vugakoto will be drafted into the squad for the mid-year test matches.

Nadroga lock Tevita Ratuva alongside Serupepeli Vularika and Namosi first five eight Alivereti Veitokani should also get the nod.

McKee is keeping a close eye on the Skipper Cup and will add more local players if needed.

Overseas-based Sevenaia Galala, Seta Tuicuvu and Semi Radradra will make their debut if selected for the test matches.

Other experience players on McKee’s radar are Nemani Nagusa, Eramasi Radrodro, Api Ratuniyarawa, Manasa Saulo, Nikola Matawalu, Ben Volavola, Vereniki Goneva, Patrick Osbourne, Nemani Nadolo and Josua Tuisova.

The Flying Fijians will come into camp on the 4th of next month to prepare for the matches against Romania, Georgia and Tonga.
