Top fight action expected at NCC

High level of competition is expected at the 2015 Rooster Chicken National Club Football Championship’s which starts this weekend.

The top two teams from each district have qualified after the local league competition.

The Western and Southern Zone playoffs will be held this weekend with the top teams making it through to the finals next weekend at Govind Park in Ba.

Suva’s Civic FC are the defending champions who defeated Nadi’s Namaka FC 3-2 in the final last year.

The winner of the competition walks away with $4000 while the runner up receives $2000.

The final kicks off at 4pm on Sunday week and you can catch the live commentary on Radio Fiji Two with the voice of soccer, Raymond Stoddart.
