Top local rugby clubs such as Police, Tabadamu, Wardens and Yamacia have confirmed their participation in the Martintar 7s in Nadi next month.
The tournament was launched at Tokatoka Resort earlier today and media officer, Timoci Waqaniburotu says it is expected to be quite a spectacle to witness top teams in action.
“We have confirmation from top teams including the Darwin 7s champions, Tabadamu, Coral Coast 7s, Police, Army, Wardens Gold and Wardens Green. And also some other top teams.”
Minister of Youth and Sports, Laisenia Tuitubou was chief guest at the launch of the tournament, which is into its third year of competition.
Team registrations will close on the 4th of next month.
The Martintar 7s will be held on March 18th and 19th at Prince Charles Park.
