Fiji International lawn bowler Litia Tikoisuva has finally lifted the Pineapple Cup after a lapse of five years.

Tikosuva beat defending champion, Loretta Kotoisuva 21-11 in the final this afternoon at the Suva Bowling turf.

The 55-year-old says her years of trying has finally ended.

“Actually I was down in a few end and I had to back to the basic and try and get back to the game and so I was able to do that and I come out victorious.”

Meanwhile, Semesa Naiseruvati defended the men’s title after defeating Rajinesh Prasad 21-18.
