Tikoirotuma ready for first RWC start

September 30, 2015 12:53 am

Vodafone Flying Fijians winger, Asaeli Tikoirotuma is itching to make his first Rugby World Cup starting call-up a memorable one.

Called up to take the number 11 jumper left vacant by suspended Nemani Nadolo is a big ask, but the former Chiefs Super Rugby winger is ready.

“Training today was a bit rusty, but for me, the opportunity arises so I’m going to take it with two hands. We are going to try and at least get the boys together and try and give them (Wales) a good game.”

Tikoirotuma is one of six changes made to the Flying Fijians side, which lost to Australia 28-13 last week.

Wales will host the Flying Fijians at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff at 3:45am on Friday and you can watch it live on FBC TV.
