Three more Fiji Under-20 players called up

Three more Vodafone Fiji Under-20 football players have been called up to join the national Under-23 training camp from next week in preparation for the Pacific Games.

Ba striker Saula Waqa, his district team mate and goalkeeper, Shaneel Naidu and Rewa’s Tevita Waranivalu join seven other Under-20 reps in the squad.

The others named earlier on were Kolinio Sivoki, Praneel Naidu, Jale Dreloa, Iosefo Verevou, Nickel Chand, Antonio Tuivuna and Misiwane Nairube.

The Under-23 side arrives back home today after competing in the Four Nations Friendly Cup in Vanuatu, where the team finished third.

The U23 squad will be playing against the Wellington Phoenix academy side in curtain raisers to the Fiji vs Phoenix senior matches next Saturday and the following Tuesday.
