There's still hope for boxing

Despite not having any more boxing matches for more than a year now, there is still hope for the sport to rise above its ranks.
Minister of Sports Commander Viliame Naupoto says plans are underway to lift boxing in the country.
“We went across and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the MOU is a wide range for all sporting federations and they have offered to come in and assist and we hope the Fiji Boxing Commission will be taking up the offer and getting one of the coaches to come across.”
Naupoto believes that in recent times sports has brought people together.
Meanwhile, Fiji will finally get to witness its first ever boxing bout in December after a long wait.
