Murray could return to tennis

January 15, 2019 12:00 pm

Andy Murray has revealed he is considering a potentially career-extending second hip operation after bowing out of the Australia Open Tennis in Melbourne.

After losing three sets to two against Roberto Bautista Agut in the first round yesterday, Murray says he may return after the operation.

“I don’t know maybe I will see you again. I will do everything possible to return. I have done everything possible to try and if I want to play again I need to have like a big operation which is no grantee that I will come back from, anyway I will give my best shot.”
