International Table Tennis Federation, Oceania president Anthony Ho says they are working with the Ministry of Education in order to get more students in Table Tennis.
The Federation last week launched the “Bounce It Back Program’ which is to promote inclusivity in the sport.
Anthony Ho says there is an abundance of talent in Fiji when it comes to Table Tennis.
“It’s huge if we are talking about the talents that we have created in the Western Division many many years ago. Unfortunately, we don’t have the resources to go out there. But Fiji Table Tennis is determined to get enough people to go out and identify those talents in the coming year.”
Ho adds some players have competed in the Youth Olympics and they have also participated in some major tournaments including the World Junior Championships.
