Fiji will not be represented in softball and touch rugby at the 2015 Pacific Games because of noncommittal to their requirements.

Chef de Mission Cathy Wong says they are still awaiting the $500,000 from government for its budget to the three-week competition.

FASANOC Executive Board is in the process of talking to Government. At least half a million dollars is coming out of Government’s 1/3. The national federations have given their 1/3 and FASANOC has given its 1/3. So the executive board is talking to Government to come up with that.”

Sporting federations have until the end of the month to submit their final squads for the regional games in Papua New Guinea, which will be held on July fourth to the 18th.
